Did you know? Lithium Batteries and Mobile Power Supplies cannot be checked in
When traveling abroad for business or leisure, in addition to packing enough clothes and essentials, it’s crucial to be aware that lithium batteries or power banks must only be carried in carry-on luggage and cannot be placed in checked baggage.
Lithium batteries are sensitive to impacts and high temperatures! Checked baggage often experiences collisions, and the temperature in the cargo hold can vary due to weather conditions. If a lithium battery or power bank were to short circuit and catch fire, it would be impossible to promptly deal with the situation if it’s in checked baggage, severely affecting flight safety.
⚠ Lithium batteries and power banks must only be carried in carry-on luggage on the plane, so any issues can be promptly detected and addressed. ⚠ Batteries should also be placed in protective cases or have insulation tape applied to the positive and negative terminals, and individually stored in plastic protective bags to avoid contact with metal or coins, which could cause short circuits and generate heat and sparks.
#Prioritize Your Travel Safety #Confirm airline regulations before packing your luggage for added security before departure.
